this is me at work doing a vessel with a new tool
my lathe is home made with bits and info from all sources I could find
the head stock 23"capacity with a floating motor 12 speeds 1-1/2 hp 450 to 1750 rpm it also is wired for reverse see the top of the head
the bed is made of railroad tracks 36" long very solid and all is held by 12 bolts can be taken apart in 5 minutes but the weight is 750 pounds more o less
the spindle is 2" with tread 1-8" the piece on it is capirona
olive piece being turn by my star student anti from the greek embassy
the same student turning left handed like me
